EventTickets started as the ticketing behind STACC Sessions, a live music promoter in St Andrews and Dundee. Their drops sold out faster than any ticket page could cope with, so we built one that could.
What we believe.
- Your brand, not ours.
- Buyers come for your night. They should see your name from the first click to the door, not a marketplace pushing someone else's event.
- Built for the drop.
- The hardest minute in ticketing is the one where everyone taps at once. If the queue holds then, everything else is easy.
- Fair on cheap tickets.
- A small fixed part on every fee keeps £5 student tickets worth selling, and the buyer usually pays it, so it costs most organisers nothing.
- A person on the other end.
- When something goes wrong on a Friday night, you need someone who knows the product, not a form. Live chat goes to our team.
What we won't do.
Some things other ticketing platforms do on purpose. We never will.
- Show your buyers another promoter's event
- Make your buyers download an app to get in
- Charge you for setup, payouts, the door app or wallet passes

We began with the promoters, societies and venues around St Andrews and Dundee, where we can be at the door on the night and fix things in person. We're growing from there, one sold-out night at a time.
